A native of the East coast, Francie completed her undergraduate degree in Sociology and Criminal Justice. A craving for a deeper personal experience and cultural diversity, led Francie to move to Las Vegas, New Mexico to pursue her Master’s degree in Counseling. Her experience in New Mexico brought Francie into her love of nature and service. It was clinical experiences in a psychiatric hospital, community mental health center and a methadone clinic, that initially awakened Francie to the connection between mental health and nutritional health.

Nutrition for Pregnancy and Early ChildhoodPregnancy This topic can highlight areas of our health that we may need to pay special attention to. By increasing your awareness of how the foods you eat affects you and your baby, and by then making more positive dietary choices, you can help build a strong foundation for your baby that can be maintained throughout his or her lifetime— and yours. Good prenatal nutrition and self-care during pregnancy are two of the best ways you can start your baby with a healthy beginning in life. Good Mood Food So often, in our busy lives, we neglect to consider the impact our food choices have on how we feel. I provide useful advice on connecting with our bodies, and learning to listen to the cues our bodies provide. These cues not only help us use food to improve our mood, but also act as the gateway to our entire inner worlds. By implementing the techniques presented in this lecture, audiences learn the skills necessary to improve health, relationships and work. Nurture your NatureThe value in using our own choices and experiences as learning moments is that it helps us to really know ourselves more deeply and listen to what our body is trying to communicate. The more willing we are to listen to what our body is trying to say, rather than continuing to impose on ourselves an image of what we “think” healthy eating should look like, the more we will be on the road to our own health and empowerment.
Listening to Your Body Here’s the good news: You already have everything you need. Deep down, you possess a greater wisdom and a more powerful life force than you can imagine. I will show you the first steps so you can begin to explore this inner world and learn to nourish your body. I believe that food is the gateway to our inner world and our emotional freedom. Wellness is a state of being which requires consciousness in all areas of our lives and attunement to the wisdom of our bodies. Moving through this process, you will become more and more willing to take better care of yourself. As you eat more nourishing food, your body and mind will become healthier and more balanced, and the changes you have made will be sustainable.
Soulful Self-CareSoulful Self‑Care Add another dimension to self‑care. That means tuning into how we feed our soul, how we feed our spirit, how do we feed our essence, and allowing space and time for the care of that part of us that is unseen. I show you how to incorporate a practice that honors the unseen part of us. To supplement your normal routine of ensuring that you bathe daily or brush your teeth, I give you strategies to add the component of what nurtures your soul, what inspires you, what helps you stay connected with you intuition, with the guide that we all have within us, to show us what keeps us connected with ourselves even when there's an abundance of distractions in our lives. The Conscious ManagerBeing the boss is tough. I teach you how to employ conscious communication strategies to inspire your team to their best work and realization of the vision for your business.
I serve: I serve individuals who are looking for a deeper connection with their health, bodies and food. Our relationship with food is a powerful indicator of our relationship with ourselves. Once we are able to change our relationship with food, we are able to transform our relationship with ourselves. Being able to identify our issues surrounding how and what we eat provides a big step towards healing in all aspects of our lives. This healing then extends outwards into our communities.
Additionally, I can speak with non-profits, business groups, employee assistance programs and at conferences
